In celebration of National Women’s Health Week, Commucare held an educational workshop to increase women’s awareness of breast and cervical cancer. CommuCare will be holding an educational workshop on cervical and breast cancer on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. Andrew Christian Church, Olathe, Kansas. For those of you who attended the breast cancer event last year, the event on May 11 will be taking place at the same location.

CommuCare received a grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure Kansas City Affiliate to organize an educational workshop to increase breast cancer awareness among black African-born women in the Kansas City area.
