Stacy Braiuca is a Clinical Social Worker, Public Health Educator, Social Media Specialist and Health Literacy Activist working to change paradigms in how we advocate for ourselves by using social media. She is currently working on collaborations using social media to promote health literacy and overall wellness in disadvantaged populations, including her personal and professional active blogging and use of social media. She is an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and a lifelong Kansas City area resident.

Stacy is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Missouri Kansas City teaching in the School of Social Welfare’s Master in Social Work program.

Lety Sarmiento works on social media and the website for CommuCare. She is a certified medical interpreter and is working towards her bachelor’s degree at The University of Kansas. She is interested in working with underserved communities and has been doing volunteer work at JayDoc free health clinic since 2011. Currently she is employed at Healthy Living Kansas.
