Florence Ndikum-Moffor, PhD, MPH
Dr. Ndikum-Moffor founded CommuCare Services Inc in 2007. The organization was formed from the realization of a need for a social network for African-born women living in the Kansas City area.
Florence has experience in humanitarian work and has served as Program Manager for health care development projects in the United States, and as Field Director of disaster relief efforts in Haiti shortly after the earthquake in 2010. She volunteers with organizations that promote the health and well-being of underserved communities in Kansas City and abroad.
Dr. Ndikum-Moffor earned a doctorate degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Kansas. In addition to her passion for humanitarian work, she also is interested in research on cancer prevention and control and health disparities.
